How to Resize any Image Less than 10 KB or 20 KB using Photoshop Cs6

In this tutorial I show you how to reduce image size. Here I reduce image size under 20 kb and 10 kb.

I use this image Dimensions: 500 X 643 and Size: 222 KB

If we reduce only the dimensions then it reduce the size but as well as decrease the quality of the image.
Here I reduce the dimensions to 100 X 129, but the image size still 32 KB and decrease the quality as well.

But in Photoshop here is an option Save for Web...By using this option you can reduce image size what do you want.
To do so go to File and from the dropdown list select Save for Web...

Now a new Save for Web window comes up. Here select Optimized file format to JPG andCompression Quality to Low. Here I remain the image size as the original image 500 X 643. Now click on save button.



Now the image Dimensions is 500 X 643 but the size is reduced to 28 KB and the quality is remain same as the original image.

If we want to reduce the size under 20 KB then go to Save for Web option and select Optimized file format to JPG, Compression Quality to Low and decrease the image size to 400 X 514. Now click on save button.

Now the image size is 19.3 KB and the quality is remain good.


Dimensions: 400 X 514, Size: 19.3 KB

If we want to reduce the size under 10 KB then go to Save for Web option and select Optimized file format to JPG, Compression Quality to Low and decrease the image size to 250 X 322. Now click on save button.



Now the image size is 8.83 KB and the quality is remain good.


Dimensions: 250 X 322, Size: 8.83 KB

By playing with Save for Web option in Photoshop you can reduce image size very easily without losing the quality.
